TM NEW DRAKE ALBUM REVIEW...TRINA IN THE HOSPITAL....ANOTHER DEATH ROW ARTIST SHOT AND KILLED

2 Chainz Reunites The Hot Boyz In New Video

As promised, 2 Chainz hit New Orleans successfully reuniting the Hot Boyz in the video for his homage inspired effort, “Used 2″. Partnering with Lil Wayne, Mannie Fresh, Juvenile, and Turk; the boys revived the  former group’s spirit, ripping a page straight out the 1990s “Back That Ass Up” video.

“We turnUP today in the 7 th ward ,Hot boy shit #freeB.G.,” tweeted 2 Chainz. All decked in white tees, assisted by residents of the community, the boys brought it back to the old days, throwing a dance contest right in the middle of the street.

B.G, a former Hot Boyz member is currently  serving a  14 year sentence in a federal prison for gun possession and witness tampering.

The Game And NBA Player 'Brandon Jennings' Gets Into a Fight Over a Microphone In Los Angeles Club!!

New Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings was reportedly punched in the face by rapper The Game while Jennings was celebrating his birthday at a club in Los Angeles this past weekend.
Jennings was apparently celebrating his 24th birthday at Lure in LA -- one of the rapper's favorite spots -- and got into it with The Game after the two argued over who could use the deejay's microphone.
"[The Game] didn't like that Jennings was hogging the microphone. He felt like he was being disrespected," a witness told HipHollywood. Things escalated and that's when Jennings reportedly got hit. The former Bucks point guard was acquired by Detroit in a sign-and-trade this offseason that netted Jennings a three-year, $25 million deal.

Radio Interview: Teyana Taylor talks twitter beef with Rihanna [Audio]

And the claws come out! On Tuesday, Sept. 24, Rihanna got into her latest Twitter tussle, this time with up-and-coming singer Teyana Taylor. The war of words escalated quickly after Taylor, 22, posted a video of herself covering Anita Baker's "Caught Up in the Rapture."

Moments later, Rihanna tweeted an Instagram video of her hairstylist Yusef with a wig, snapback and sneakers (in an obvious jab at Taylor's style), singing the exact same song. An irate Taylor then took the pair's beef public in a series of since-deleted angry tweets.

"Don't play wit me Rihanna," she warned. "F--k all this industry s--t, YOU & I know each other VERY well. Throwing subs 4 wat? U got my #, don't show off." Before the "Diamonds" singer could even respond, however, her legions of fans jumped to her defense, calling Taylor out for what they deemed a major offense. Taylor held her own, however, tweeting that "y'all could bully everybody else & get away wit that sh-t but that sh-t ain't one work ova here. so y'all could miss me with that NAVY sh-t." Check the video how Teyana responded:

DRAKE "NOTHING WAS THE SAME" ALBUM REVIEW

YMCMB recording artist Drake aka Drizzy released his 3rd studio LP "Nothing Was the Same".  We got the TRACK by TRACK review of this album.  I must say overall I was impressed! Im not much of a Drake fan or havent really been a fan since 2008-2009. But he brought it back to the Drake we remembered...the Drake that was a universal, lyrical and most argued emcee, songwriter and vocalist.  He had tracks that the ladies would love and tracks that Hip Hop heads would love.  He also had something for the Top 40 crowd. The beat selection was strategic and melodic.  He also had Hip Hop beat selections i can applaud him for. This definitely is added to the list of the best releases in 2013!

1) Tuscan Leather - He killed it strait up! Proved he can weigh in with the best emcees.

2) Furthest Thing - Not really my cup of tea.  But i know the ladies would love it.

3) Started From The Bottom - One of my favorites. Very inspirational.

4)Wu-Tang Forever - SMH at the singing in the beginning but the lyrics were great.

5) Own It - I expected more. SMH

6) Worst Behavior - It was aight.

7) From Time - This track is crack! The beat is sick and the whole feel of the track was amazing! One of my favorite tracks! Well written.

8) Hold On, We're Going Home - SMH i feel like im listening to Lionel Richie....LMBO

9) Connect - It was pretty good.  The beat kept my attention and his constant switching up.

10) The Language - Wow. Nice flow.

11) 305 To My City - It was aight. Sound like the slow version of "Versace Versace"

12) Too Much - Nice job Drizzy! You defintely put work in this track!

13) Pound Cake/Paris Morton Music 2 - Drake killed the track and Jay-Z provided the murder weapons.  What more can i say. The DJed sample of C.R.E.A.M. was awesome.

14) Come Thru - Brought me back to 1996-1997 feel.  I like this track.  Very melodic and i love the flow!

15) All Me ft 2 Chainz and Big Sean - Flow bananas and the beat was heavy! Niiiice!

The overall rating for this album:
3 out of 4 Ts

MIAMI RAPPER TRINA HOSPITALIZED

"Here We Go" rapper Trina was hospitalized early Monday morning -- after passing out in a Florida airport over "dehydration and overexertion."

We're told Trina had been traveling all day while battling some sort of illness -- and hit the deck minutes after stepping off the plane. The 34-year-old rapper was rushed to a nearby hospital ... where she's recovering. We're told Trina will be fine. Please keep her in prayer!

Here's Trina most recent interview on Sept 19th:

DEATH ROW ARTIST SHOT AND KILLED:

Former Death Row Records artist, Kevin “Flipside” White of the Watts group O.F.T.B. died on Monday September 23 as a victim of gun violence.

Based out of the Nickerson Gardens Projects in Watts, the group O.F.T.B (Operation From The Bottom) signed to Death Row Records in the early 90′s and appeared on such compilations and soundtracks as Murder Was The Case, Above The Rim and Gridlock’d.

Although O.F.T.B. released their debut album Straight Up Watts on Big Beat Records in 1992 before signing with Suge Knight, they never released an album on Death Row Records until 2011 when the new owners of the Death Row catalogue, WideAwake, decided to release the group’s Damn Near Dead album. Details about the shooting are still unknown at this time.

Dr. Dre Breaks Michel’le Nose Forcing Her to Get Plastic Surgery

Singer Michel’le alluded to being abused by her former lover and baby’s father Dr. Dre on the preview of the “R&B Divas: LA” Reunion special, that airs last night on TVOne. Michel’le has children by two prominent industry men:
Suge Knight and Dr. Dre, and when hostess Wendy Williams questioned which of the men broke her nose, Michel’le didn’t answer but later made it clear that Suge never abused her, leading us to believe she was referring to the the million-dollar producer!

Hot97 Mister Cee Resigns After Drag Queen Exposes Him (video)

No one could have foreseen that (September 11) would be the legendary DJ Mister Cee's last time spinning his noon mixshow on Hot 97. Unfortunately, that was the case as he decided to resign after 20 years of service because a cross dressing drag queen named Bimbo Winehouse released a YouTube video accusing the Brooklyn native of seeking s-xual services.
Though the only proof was a voice in the recording and there was no concrete evidence of any wrongdoing, Cee said, "Ain't nobody perfect man. I have made my mistakes. But when it effect people that you came up with, you don't want to put them through it anymore.

I'm just going to move on, man."
There's also the matter of him being pinched for the same crime twice before. In any case, the two decade long reign of the man credited with helping to discover the Notorious B.I.G. is officially over at the renowned radio station.
What do you think about Mister Cee's departure? Was resigning the right move? Do you think he was actually fired?

GUCCI MANE CLAIMS HE HAD "RELATIONS" WITH NICKI AND OTHERS ON TWITTER!

Gucci is one of those dudes who just doesn't need a Twitter. 1--Because we can only understand every third word of what he's trying to say. And 2--Because he seems to use it more for blasting others than he does for promoting himself.

This brings us to tonight's rant. Not sure what set him off....or what possible substance set him off....but Gucci started going off about folks in the industry:

Every 1 n the industry has a hidden agenda every person let greed n pride conquer them its sad but I been in jail so much it humbled me

And then, shit got wild from there.

The highlights, from what we could understand:

Gucci claims to have had a threesome with Nicki Minaj. Another threesome with Tyga's chick Blac Chyna.

He goes on about smashing video vixens Keyshia Dior (who we thought was his actual girlfriend at some point), Buffy The Body and others who had a man at the time. And according to Gucci, he sexed Ciara, Monica (while she was with Rocko) and Taraji P. Henson.

Then he went in on the folks at Atlantic Records, and he apparently isn't signed with that company anymore. He called someone "fat lard".

And then, he started attacking Drake by calling him an Instagram groupie, Jeezy, T.I. and others. And he called Tiny ugly.

This guy.

So Nicki decides to respond by going in on him, saying things like:
Gucci look like a upset stomach...Career aint goin nowhere like horses in da stable/ bitch I'm in the mansion, flossin, clickin cable.
*Snickers*
And Tyga responded:
Burberry Man was just askin for a song doe?? #OnlyACrackhead

Check out the tweets from Guwop's twitter below:

Then this convo between Nicki and Tyga got posted in response:

SHOTS FIRED: Lil Kim Calls Lil Wayne Gay After Being Mentioned On “Pure Columbia” On Dedication 5 Mixtape!!

After being mentioned on Lil Wayne’s “Pure Columbia” off of his recently released Dedication 5 mitxtape, Lil’ Kim decided to respond to Weezy via Twitter. In her response, Kim referred to Wayne as “Lil’ Tutu” and as her “homegirl.”
The comments follow a reference Lil Wayne made on “Pure Columbia,” where Wayne refers to Lil’ Kim with a perceived jab at her plastic surgery.
“I done lost a couple hoes, but I’m still a pimp,” Wayne raps on “Pure Columbia.” “Just changed the face of my Rollie, shout out Lil’ Kim.”
Lil’ Kim has had an ongoing feud with Lil Wayne’s frequent collaborator Nicki Minaj. In 2012, Kim explained how she viewed their differences.
“I never had a problem with her,” Lil’ Kim said. “I was always nice with her. Always. She was a very obnoxious person, but I was very nice with her…From the moment that I met her, I was always cool with her.
But after that, it almost seems like, when they realized, ‘OK, we need Kim. We want to study her swag.’ That’s what it kind of felt like because I was around for a long time. They were like, ‘OK, let’s study her swag.’”

PAPOOSE DISSES BIG SEAN

In an interview with Hot 97 regarding the "Control" responses, Big Sean claimed he didnt know who Papoose was.  Papoose offered education to him:

DRAKE BREAKS DOWN COMMON BEEF ORIGIN

Young Money's Drake had some extended words when asked about one-time rap foe Common in his new XXL Magazine cover story which did not make the feature, however, those outtakes have surfaced.

When asked about the publicized feud, Drizzy admitted to being hurt for not understanding why Common wanted to take shots at him.
"There is a bunch of Common diehards who would never let you utter the words "Drake got" anything in front of them. I felt really hurt man. I felt like some injustice was done to me in a sense of we're talking about Common, we're talking a guy whose music I enjoy, a guy who I had never met, a guy who I never conversed with at that point. We're talking about the guy outside the hearing impaired girl's window with the sign cards with the love songs and he's coming at me for being soft? That hurt me. I told him that. I'm like, "Man, you're supposed to embrace what I'm doing. I'm balancing real rap with girl records with club records. I'm just trying to give people music to live with and for you, of all people, to attack me?"" (XXL Magazine)
Even though the beef is over, Drake pointed out the 41-year-old used the disses for free album promotion.
"If Jeezy came at me and said I was soft, I would be like, "Yeah, I guess, probably." It was just crazy for it to be him. Even when we linked up, it was like, "What are you doing? Why?" It was like, "I never met you? What happened?" I do know that when we finally connected in person it was like, "Yeah, let's just dead it." Which made me kind of feel like it was an album week thing, which it was, by the way. I don't know if anyone remembers that--his album was coming out that week." (XXL Magazine)
Last year, Common said they finally ironed matters out at the Grammy Awards.
"We had a talk, we had a conversation. It was a face-to-face, man-to-man, a positive thing. It was a good conversation. I've learned to respect him even more," Common explained in an interview. "I already thought he was a talented guy, but just from the conversation we had, I hold even more respect for him. We saw each other and the conversation was initiated. It was just a respectful conversation that needed to be had, so he knew that I'm not at him trying to destroy him as a human being. It was a hip-hop battle to me. I had to put all of those things into hip-hop -- I gave him a pound, gave him a boom and it was all love." (The Real Cabbie)
The Chicago rap veteran also previously explained how the hip-hop feud ran its course.
"It was all in the honor of hip-hop, it's kind of over now. It's over. So, you know, it was all in the honor of hip-hop," Common told hip-hop personality Toure. "He said some things to me, so I had to say some things back. I wouldn't say [he] started it, but I knew I heard something said that I felt like it was directed toward me so, you know, I addressed it. That's all. But thank God we were able to move forward from it and all is good. We're all emcees and no matter what your age, when you step in the ring -- when you see basketball players playing, they don't be like, 'Well, this guy's [small],' and basically if you're playing against me or you're challenging me at some point, I'm an emcee, I like doing that, I like emceeing. I love it. That's what I go for." (FUSE)

PAPOOSE RESPONDS TO KENDRICK LAMAR'S VERSE ON "CONTROL"

GEM FOR YOUR MIND FRAME:

When our world is rocked by tragic events and evil acts, we long for the day when evil will finally be destroyed and God will bring history to a close and fully establish His kingdom. Until that time, however, the Lord gives us His grace to live purposeful lives of faith as we await His coming. In Hebrews 10, we are urged to draw near to God with sincere hearts (v.22); hold fast to the hope we profess (v.23); spur each other on to love and good works (v.24); and continue meeting together for encouragement “and so much the more as you see the Day approaching” (v.25).
Until the time God extinguishes the fires of evil forever, He gives us His grace and strength to endure the trials of life as we look forward to His return.

PAPOOSE RESPONDS TO KENDRICK LAMAR "CONTROL" VERSE:

KENDRICK LAMAR BODYBAGS "NO I.D./CONTROL" FEATURE...BUT THIS IS NOT A DISS TRACK!!!!

SOOOOO EVERYONE ASKIN ME MY TAKE ON THE KENDRICK LAMAR VERSE ON "CONTROL"...SMH I THINK YALL TAKIN IT WAAAAY OUT OF CONTEXT....ITS NOT A DISS SONG!!!!! STOP FEEDING INTO THE MEDIA YO! BUT MY TAKE ON KENDRICKS VERSE ON "CONTROL": it was all puns and just makin light competition among his peers...its a battle rapper mentality...end of the day they all still cool with him...he was shakin up the rap world..tryin to bring realness and competitiveness back to hip hop! he wasnt tryin to say he was the KING of OUR CITY....he was usin it metaphorically to say that NY is on the top of the food chain of hip hop cuz we started this ish.....he was merely sayin he belong in the mist of NY royalty!!!! It was a great verse but started off ok....obviously big sean was cool with it cuz he still released the song in its entirety!!!! there was no beef..just shakin up the competition...Kendrick lamars verse aint no different from like Kobe playin 1 on 1 against Lebron James...they cool with each other but there always gonna be competition...Hip Hop is a very competitive genre! -via BRICK FLACO on Facebook

SPIRITUAL LESSON FOR JULY:

The advice that I read in a self-help book sounded good: Do only what you’re great at because that’s when you’ll feel most fulfilled. The author was trying to help readers create the kind of life they wanted. I don’t know about you, but if I did only what I was great at, I wouldn’t accomplish much!
In Mark 10, we read about two disciples, James and John, who had some plans for the kind of life they wanted for themselves someday. They asked to be at Jesus’ right and left hand in His kingdom (v.37). The other 10 disciples were “greatly displeased” with them for asking (v.41). (Possibly because that was the kind of position they wanted for themselves!)
But Jesus used the opportunity to teach His followers about another kind of life—one of serving others. He said, “Whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. And whoever of you desires to be first shall be slave of all” (vv.43-44). It appears that service for others is God’s design for us.
Even Jesus, the Son of God, “did not come to be served, but to serve” (v.45). As we look at Christ’s example and depend on the Holy Spirit’s help, we too can be servants and will create a fulfilling life. -Our Daily Bread

ACE HOOD FEELINGS BEHIND TRAYVON CASE:

Everyone across America was stunned and emotional over the verdict for George Zimmerman. I personally think you all should pray for Trayvon family and praise God and let the Lord do His bidding and handle it because some of the negativity and violence for the outcome of this case is senseless.  We have a killing over the weekend in Chicago. Blacks killing blacks.  Lets just put God in our lives..thats how you fight the enemy, because the enemy has no color.  This is a spiritual battle we going through.  Now check out the Florida native's thoughts and also Ace Hood explains his start of fame, the pains of fame, and the "watch bezzle" incident:

TRILLSMNANIA: MAGNA CARTA REVIEW:

What yall been waiting for! You know I had to give yall my review for the new Jigga album "Magna Carta" that came out July 4th.  This album was so buzzworthy that the RIAA gave it a "Platinum" status before the album even came out, due to the millions of copies bought by SAMSUNG who tried to boost sales for their phones by adding a "Magna Carta" app exclusively for Samsung phone owners. However after hearing the album I was NOT IMPRESSED and very DISAPPOINTED. Despite maybe 4 or 5 bangers on the joint, I felt like it was a mediocre album.  I did a track by track review (in order of track listing on the album) so yall can feel why I felt this way. Dont JUDGE me....its just my opinion.

JAY-Z "MAGNA CARTA...HOLY GRAIL"

OVERALL TRILLSMANIA ALBUM RATING:

Magna Carta Review:

1. Holy Grail ft Justin Timberlake
Its aight.  Nothing to write home about.

2. Picasso Baby
One of my favorites. The beat goes in mad hard and I love the switch up after 2 min in on the track. Timbaland said in an interview this was the hardest track on MCHG. I believe him.  The percussion and flow remind me of how Hov dominates a well DJ Premiere produced track.  Despite DJ Premiere didnt even produce it but it mimics his beat patterns and sounds. Jay-Z though lazy with the flow still dominated this track with excellence. Definitely a REAL Hip Hop Track. Cant wait for the music video which is already in progress, and being filmed at Pace Gallery in NYC.

3. Tom Ford
Its aight. I mean i like the anti-MOLLY bar but the beat is really the only thing that impress me. The rhyme flow to me is weak, and it reminds me too much of the garbage thats already out.  Not good Jay.

4. F**WitMeYouKnowIGotIt ft Rick Ross:
SMH Hov verse was ok. Seem like a lost verse that should of been on "Watch the Throne". Rick Ross verse was TRASH.

5. Oceans ft Frank Ocean:
A nice track. Frank Ocean voice brings life to the beat and hook! I love this track and the rhyme flow on it Hov! This track should be up there with classic tracks.

6. F.U.T.W.:
Another favorite track that goes hard. Love the rifts and all, remind me of a Nas or Raekwon and Ghost Face Killah track.  This track bring me back to 1996-1997.

7. Somewhere In America:
Hot track!!!!! I am a big fan of piano rifts and it just has that classic Jay-Z appeal. Love the silly and crafty Miley Cyrus twerking reference.

8.Crown
Should have been on the "Watch The Throne" album.  Its a nice track, and the beat is bananas but it kind of scares the ish out of me.  Maybe its the samples and sounds. Kind of sac-religious.

9. Heaven
The sample in this rocks so freaking hard! I love the classic rifts reminiscent of 1996-1998 Hip Hop.  I love how he addresses his religion (Nation of Gods and Worlds aka God Body) so he can stop being judged. You have to really listen close to every word and not judge.  But this was a great track. The switchup remind me of RZA and Wu Tang. But you can tell Timbaland co-produced it.

10. Versus
I like the "Common Sense" reference from "Stolen Thoughts" he begins "Hey Sucka N**** wherever you are", but the fact he just left it a skit...was weak!

11. Part II (On The Run) ft Beyonce:
SMH.....Weak. Boring track.

12. Beach Is Better:
Great track and awesome beat, but why oh why only 58 seconds long? SMH Come on Hov.

13. BBC feat. Nas, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Swizz Beatz, Pharrell & Timbaland:
Its ok.  I like Nas verse and Jigga verse (which referenced Mase from his feature with Biggie on the 112 smash "Only You Remix") But its not that bad of a track.  It could have been a little better though.

14. Jay-Z Blue:
I love the Biggie mixed in it and the "Momma Dearest" movie samples mixed in this joint with the Timbaland heavy production.  His verses are so clean and classic Jay-Z.  I enjoyed this track and his venting of comparisons of his fatherhood to his father's way of fatherhood and the struggles of being a father under pressure by the business.

15. La Familia:
Sound like a freaking Chief Keef track if Timbaland and Swizz Beats were to produce it.  SMH Why this sound like a DEMO? And it also sound like Kanye had a little hand in this.

16. Nickles & Dimes:
A clever track and love the positivity.  Classic Jay-Z.  The beat could be a little better though.

NEW MUSIC FROM JAY-Z!!!! THIS SHOULD OF BEEN ON MAGNA CARTA!

50 Cent Spazzes Out on His Son! Calls Him a S**thead!

Now, I believe Fif can be a douche, but I’m not too sure about this one. Months before allegedly, kicking his baby mother, and trashing her home the, “Many Men” rapper got into a text message back n’ forth with his 16-year-old son, Marquise. Looks like this kid is in the middle of a visitation battle between 50 and his mother, Shaniqua Tompkins. 50 went to the home of his son, and no one answered the door (they peeked through the blinds and turned out the lights), so he went to text the kid to say that he had made him take a trip to the home for no reason.
The MC calls his son all kinds of names, says that he wants a DNA test, “cause that d*ck sucking b*tch you call mom was f*cking the hole time.” SMH! Now why would a man say this to his child?Check out the texts below:
